René Mandeville is a Professional Engineer with over forty years of experience working in the Industrial Gases sector. Having studied at École Polytechnique-Université de Montréal as well as École de Soudure Autogène in Paris, France, René has held a variety of positions at the Director, Vice President, and Partner level for numerous reputable organizations throughout Eastern Canada. René began his career working at Air Liquide Canada where he remained for approximately twenty-five years. Over the years, René was instrumental in developing and managing the sales and marketing departments for the Quebec and Manitoba regions as well as spearheading all innovative releases that were developed for the emerging industrial gas business.
In 1992, René joined Optec-Energie Services, which, after a series of mergers and acquisitions, paved the path for the next seventeen years of his career. As Partner and Vice President of Sales at Hydrogen Systems Inc., René was responsible for all the industrial sales for the on-site generation divisions in the Americas. Having an intimate knowledge of metallurgical engineering and applied sciences, he was able to generate some of the organization’s first international sales introductions leading to an acquisition by Stuart Energy in Mississauga, Ontario in 2003. Following this, René continued his work with hydrogen-based industrial and energy applications as the Sales Director for the Americas and Australia on behalf of Stuart Energy and Hydrogenics Corporation.
René brings a wealth of technical expertise and a vast network to the Cadre organization and is one of the initial team members to join the Montreal operations. He remains an active member of the Pipeline Association of Montréal (APL) as well as the Chambre de Commerce de Montréal.
